Our Story
myk+ arose from a mother′s desire to protect her children and give them a home that′s free of toxins. It grew from a Nordic environmentalist′s efforts to make urban life greener and healthier. Both found the Nordic countries an inspiration for their dream to bring about a safer, simpler and more wholesome life.
Every day we use household cleaning and personal care products filled with chemicals that infuse our homes and enter our bodies. Many cause us harm and it′s very difficult to understand the full extent of this damage because there just isn′t enough research. In the Nordic countries, a movement has been underway for decades to get harmful chemicals out of daily life. This is why a high percentage of products sold in stores there are free of fragrances, dyes and other harmful chemicals.
